Well, here are the
specs for the Disney animated titles. I'm going to still hold back a bit
here, because sometimes features change. But, no 16x9 and judging by this,
there are still some features missing that were even on the VHS tapes! Here
goes:
- Our wooden friend
Pinocchio includes: Original Theatrical Trailer, English and
French 2.0 Surround, THX Certified.
- Mulan has
5.1 English, with 2.0 French and Spanish tracks, and trailer. It is
also the only one in the bunch with both full screen and Widescreen
1.85:1 on a dual-layer disc. Also, there is a "Reflection" and "True
To Your Heart" music videos, and it is also THX Certified.
- Next up is Hercules
with "The Making Of Hercules" featurette and "No Importa La Distancia"
music video by Ricky Martin. It, too, is THX, but is also English 5.1
and French and Spanish Language, and widescreen 1.66:1 only.
- Those spotty pups
of 101 Dalmatians are THX certified and includes the trailer,
and English 2.0 Surround English and French tracks.
- The Lion King
2: Simba's Pride includes "Love Will Find A Way" and "We Are One"
music videos and a trailer, as wella s English, French and Spanish tracks.
It is also widescreen 1.66:1 and THX certified.
- Lady And The
Tramp features the 2.35:1 version, and English, French and Spanish
5.1 tracks. No THX certification or any other features.
- The Little
Mermaid also gets a bit gypped, with only English, French and Spanish
5.1 tracks and the 1.66:1 aspect ratio. No special features, either.
- Finally, both
Peter Pan and The Jungle Book probably get the worst treatment
of all, with only 4.0 English and French tracks. No trailer or anything
else
